The Bronx home inspector
Home inspections in the Bronx
Co-ops in Riverdale and Pelham Parkway, multi-families in Williamsbridge and Wakefield, waterfront homes in Throgs Neck and City Island. We inspect throughout the borough.

Bronx multi-family homes
Two- and three-family homes are a common first purchase in the Bronx, and often an owner-occupied rental. We inspect each unit and the shared systems, with special attention to heating capacity, electrical service and fire separation between units. See multi-family inspections.
Co-ops
Riverdale and Pelham Parkway have large pre-war and post-war co-op buildings. Inside the unit, we focus on electrical panels, radiators, windows and bathrooms. We also note building conditions that matter for future maintenance charges.
Single-family houses
In Country Club, Pelham Bay, Morris Park and Throgs Neck, many buyers are looking at detached and semi-detached brick or frame houses built in the middle of the last century. We check the roof and gutters, the age and condition of the boiler or furnace, and whether the electrical service has kept up with later renovations.
Waterfront homes
On City Island and in parts of Throgs Neck, we look closely at flood exposure, foundation moisture and the condition of exterior materials facing salt air.
